82nd Oscar Nominees Announced

The 82nd Oscar Nominees are a mix of expected and unexpected. "Up" was nominated for best picture AND best animated film. "The Princess and the Frog" is nominated for best animated film and best song, for both "Almost There" and "Down in New Orleans". My prediction for the year is that "Avatar" will make a clean sweep of probably more Oscars than "Slumdog Millionaire". "Avatar" is nominated for: Original Score, Sound Editing, Sound Mixing, Film Editing, Visual Effects,Cinematography, Art Direction, Director, and Best Picture. As much as I like the list for Supporting Actress, I feel that Sigourney Weaver should have been nominated for "Avatar".
